With great sadness but also with joyful faith in the Resurrection of our Lord, we announce the repose of our beloved father in Christ, Schema-Archimandrite Panteleimon (Voepel). He fell asleep in the Lord early this morning, April 24th, just after 3am. He died peacefully at home, in the kellia where he has welcomed monks, clergy, and pilgrims for many years, surrounded by his devoted spiritual children. As he was nearing the end, his cell attendant read the Canon for the Departure of the Soul, and at the conclusion of the final prayer, Fr. Panteleimon quietly gave his soul back into God's hands.
On Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th of August, the brotherhood of Holy Cross Monastery in Wayne, WV celebrated the feast day of the monastery’s patron saint, the Great Martyr and Healer Pantelceimon.

On the glorious feast of the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ (Thursday, June 6th) our beloved friend and benefactor Maurice Sill departed this life at the age of 94, only two days after his birthday. On the morning of the Feast, he attended the Divine Liturgy at his home parish of Christ the Saviour in Wayne, West Virginia. He confessed, received Holy Communion, and was in very good spirits. Later, while walking on a nature trail with his grandson, he reposed peacefully in the Lord.

On Friday, November 2nd, the funeral was served for Nadezhda Sill at Christ the Savior Orthodox Church in Wayne, WV, following which she was buried in the lay cemetery of the Hermitage of the Holy Cross.
