High quality product!
We already sold the censer in our St. Michael's bookstore. We have a lot of inquirers and catechumens who are inspired to do home prayers.
Pick a safe place to light the charcoal to avoid carpet burns. Have the lit charcoal and sufficient incense in the censer before adding the lid, because the top will get hot. Very handle for home use.
Nice and good quality. Thanks.
The handle is different, but it's not an issue as I believe the one I got is better than the one in the picture. Having a handle is great as I can walk throughout the house with the censer without burning myself. If you want to minimize the charcoal smell I would suggest putting some sand in the censer and a small, flat stone. Lay the incense on the stone, just barely touching the charcoal. This way you'll only smell the incense and it will burn more slowly. It will also lower the amount of smoke produced. To clean the censer of residue, I like to use 91% isopropyl alcohol with q tips. It cleans quickly, dries quickly, and doesn't damage the brass.
