Just like the premium Royal Hojari Frankincense, Superior Hojari is resin harvested from the boswellia sacra species of frankincense tree. Though not as pure as the Royal variety, Superior Hojari is nonetheless of an exceptional quality, consisting of light yellow and golden resins that burn cleanly. Its exquisite fragrance profile features prominent notes of citrus and pine, similar to Royal Hojari, which makes it an affordable alternative.
Like all of our raw frankincense varieties, Superior Hojari is an excellent option for those with respiratory sensitivities.

I was surprised at how large each piece was(in a good way). Very smooth and clean scent. Even though the pieces were large there is a good amount in the oz jar. Holy Cross doesn't disappoint with their incense.

It also enhances the fragrance of other incense, allowing you to create unique scents when blended with other incense such as Blachernae Rose and Amber.
