I had Italian wedding cookies many times when I was a kid. Those were rock-hard, came in various pastel colors & always had icing on top. They were tasty, but I like these a lot better. For one thing, the texture is softer. They're also more highly-flavored. When you don't want to open the pound cake packages, these are a great option. Will buy them again.

Almond cookies have always been a favorite of mine. These are definitely in my top two best almond cookies! The flavor is great and the slightly crisp outside and soft chewy inside are delicious and so enjoyable to eat.
