Dedicated to the memory of Metropolitan Philaret (Voznesensky), it contains morning and evening prayers, Sunday & Feast Day troparia and kontakia, three Akathists (to Jesus, the Mother of God & St. Nicholas), three canons (to Jesus, the Mother of God and the Guardian Angel), and the rule of preparation for Holy Communion. The texts were translated by Monk Joseph (Rdr. Isaac Lambertsen). This makes an excellent study aid for those who are trying to learn Church Slavonic.

Excellent layout and design - a beautiful book!

English Slavonic Prayer Book

This prayer book is well organized and beautifully written. You could read only a small excerpt and still gain immeasurable value for your interior life of prayer. It has enriched my meditation and enabled me to be more united to God through His Holy Spirit. I am a very contemplative person by nature but even if I were not this prayer book would be a great treasure. I highly recommend it if you are sincerely interested in a deeper relationship with God.
