A handmade (embroidered with beads) reproduction of the famous Orthodox icon of the Mother of God called "Quick to Hear" (Скоропослушница). The title reflect the belief that the Virgin is particularly responsive to those in need, quickly offering her help and intercession before her Son, Jesus Christ. This icon is often sought for its spiritual power to aid those in distress, particularly in times of illness or difficulty.
This work required approximately 80 hours of embroidery handwork using these materials: carnelian beads, aquamarine beads, crystal beads jewelry beads, vintage stars, gold French wire on satin cloth.
