Horologion / Book of the Hours

As a (traditional) Catholic, I'm basically dabbling into Orthodox prayers and prayer books for personal prayer, edification, and comparison, and I love this book! The prayers are so beautiful and edifying! I can warmly, highly recommend this wonderful book! Glory to Jesus Christ!

I've wanted to buy a Horologion for some time and figured there was no better time than Lent. I've had the pocket book of hours from HTM for some time and it's good for when I'm on the road, This version by comparison is, subjectively, a better translation, much easier to read from due to its size. I also really appreciate the manner in which the canons are arranged for preparing oneself for communion (much easier than flipping all around my prayer book, that's for sure), as well as additional prayers and thoughts during prayers before bed which help to make prayer more, reflective may be the word I'm looking for here. Overall, it's a great Horologion, especially for those who practice according to the slab's tradition. High quality and will last for years, and as always shipping was FAST. Honestly, I expected delays because of clean week, but the monks got it to me asap, for which I am grateful.
