These traditional, Russian-style knotted wool prayer ropes are individually handcrafted by the sisters of St. Paisius Monastery in Arizona. Woven from high quality 3-ply wool yarn, with wood divider beads, these prayer ropes may be stretched to increase the length of the rope and the distance between the knots.

Wonderful, authentic, spiritual

I am using and enjoying my 33-knot chotki. I specifically wanted one in black wool, with traditionally tied knots, wooden divider beads, tassel, and monastery origins. When not in use, I keep it in a leather case, along with my portable icon of Christ Pantokrator. Thank you for a wonderful, authentic, and spiritual product. Blessings.

A Well-Crafted Prayer Aid

I am not Orthodox (yet) but find myself drawn to many aspects of the Orthodox faith, including the prayer rope. In addition to being thoughtfully crafted for usage of the Jesus Prayer, prayers to the Theotokos, etc., this chotki is very stylish. I pray it will be helpful in deepening my prayer life.
