OK, I'll admit it. I'm a pushover for Church Slavonic & natural wood. Put them together & you'll reel me in every time, which is why I bought this item in the first place.
But given its size (roughly 3" x 2"), I wasn't expecting fine detail. I was wrong. Every letter is completely legible on both sides. Every part of the design--even the tiny ones at the very top of the cross--are perfectly done. I also like the vertical grain of the wood itself. Whoever made this put a lot of thought into both the design & execution.
